Where is the most romantic place to stay in Southern California?

    Here is a link to the Gaslamp District. You will love it!! It’s 4 blocks of great dining and entertainment. And there is a couple of great hotels there also that are very romantic.

    Here is another idea, that is my favorite place in Southern California. Catalina Island. It’s like nothing else in Southern California. It’s like another world in another time!!

    You can go on glass bottom boat, submarine and inland tours, visit the Casino which is a famous spot back in the 30’s or just do nothing but enjoy each other. It’s against the law to even play loud music there on the beach and it is very safe

    If I wanted a special time, in a special place, that you will never forget, it would there.

    My vote for the most romantic place to stay in Southern California is Sycamore Mineral Springs, which is in Avila Beach just south of San Luis Obispo.

    Each room has its own private jacuzzi on the deck or patio. You fill the tub up with fresh hot mineral water upon arrival and can enjoy soaking in the tub in the privacy of your own room. The grounds are beautiful….wooded and hilly. The restaurant at the resort has won many awards for being the most romantic restaurant in the area….plus the food is great.

    The resort also has a spa with massages and other treatments. It’s my favorite place to get a massage…it’s so quiet and relaxing.

    Stay somewhere in La Jolla, it a nice community in San Diego. Its along the water front and one of the prettiest places i have ever seen. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away from most hotels. Theres even a small beach where you can look at seals, haha.

    Another suggestion is the Hotel Del Coronado. Very nice accomodations, awesome beach front property and very cool surrounding areas in Coronado. Water taxi over to the Gaslamp for dining, shopping, dancing, etc… Be sure to visit Peohe’s. You will be a hero for suggesting this.
