What is the most romantic book you have ever read?

M&M asked: Happy Valentine’s Day. I tend to be a little sappy, so in spirit of the holiday, please tell me the most romantic book you have ever read. Thank you!

The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. Beautiful, gothic romance. Left me speechless.

That, or The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas. Now on Valentine’s Day I think of Valentine and Maximillian. Sweetest love story ever. Now I like this holiday. :P

I like clasics such as Romeo+Juliet and Pride+Predjudice. If you don’t like them I’d say Wuthering Heights or, though cliche at the moment Twilight.
