Without a doubt, the Mayflower Inn, located in Washington, CT is the most romantic inn in Litchfield County, if not the state. The Inn is located about 15 minutes from Litchfield.
However, it is VERY expensive. See below.
There is also a beautful, old inn in Litchfield, appropriately named the Litchfield Inn. If you are going mid-week, they also offer great deals. See below:
There is also the Tollgate Hill Inn in Litchfield – I don’t know much about it, however it looks beautiful. Basically, anywhere you stay in Litchfield is gorgeous.

The Boulders Inn in New Preston, CT is so romantic. It is very close to Litchfield, CT. The setting is beautiful. The food is outstanding. There is so much to do in the area. This is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway with someone!
