Any suggestions for a fast, easy and inexpensive romantic dinner?

It doesn’t matter what kind of food you prepare, get Chinese take out if you don’t want to cook, but just have candles lit and have something **** on with nothing under it, slow music, and end the night with a massage and happy ending
    :)

Set your table with your best dinnerware, romantic linens, flowers, and candles. Don’t forget the wine and cheese and your favorite romantic music to set the mood. Clean as you cook, but don’t worry about the mess afterwards; leave the dishes till morning and enjoy each other!

    heres the recipe:

    Ingredients:
2 chicken ****** halves and 2 chicken thighs
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    1 small clove garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon leaf oregano, crumbled
    1 small bay leaf
    ground pepper, to taste

    Preparation:
In a skillet, brown chicken in the oil. Add onion, green bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until tender. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, until chicken is tender.
    Serves 2 to 3.

Steak is the way to a man’s heart. If you have a grill, this will be super-easy.

Pick up a cut that is on sale at the grocery store – porterhouses were on sale for about $7 a pound.. Porterhouses run big and are recommended for 2 people per steak, but most guys wouldn’t dream of only eating half a steak, no matter how big it is. Ribeyes are good, and so are NY strips.

Pick up a bottle of dry seasoning from the spice aisle. I like the spicy montreal steak rub. Before grilling, stab the steak a number of times with a fork and rub in the seasoning. Let it sit a few minutes if you like. The trick is to not over-cook it. Usually 5 mins per side is good for medium – look online for more precise cooking times. Just flip once. It should only take about 10 mins or so to cook the steaks.

In the meantime, you can get a couple ears of corn, remove the husks, wrap them in foil and throw those on the grill too. These should cook in about 10-15 mins.

For veggies, you can pick up a packaged salad or frozen vegetable mix for a couple bucks.

The whole meal won’t cost more than $20 or so for 2 people. Clean-up is easy because almost everything was done on the grill.

what you cook isn’t the issue, but presentation is.

Set the table nicely with folded napkins and all the proper silverware.
Have a chilled glass in teh freezer to serve his favorite beer in.
Serve spaggeti with meat sauce, garlic bread and a salad (use one of those kits like ceaser salad).
    Make chocolate brownies for dessert.

Guys don’t want you killing yourself – they want it to be an evening you both enjoy so you need to have fun too not be a slave to the kitchen.
