Oh, I defintiely remember seeing them when I was a little kid. I remember my mom telling me about how awful they were!

I’m guessing that someone experimented with it and liked it. So it started to grow on other people, and thankfully it died out.

I don’t think anyone thinks there a good idea…thats why they’ve never come back!

A lot of the patterns and styles from the 80s have returned, but not that one! I’m sure there’s a reason.

I vividly remember the days when thongs were worn to the gym. There was an element of *** appeal that you just don’t see in todays active wear. Something about seeing the outline of a womans figure tightly clad in spandex, it was visually alluring and an optical tease. One thing that went horribly wrong with this picture was the sight of an overweight woman with a big ego and little thong – needless to say that wasn’t one of my favorite memories. With the revival of 80’s fashions I wouldn’t be surprised to see the look of tights and thong letoards making a come back in fitness clubs around the country.
