Dad’s can be funny about that sort of thing. But I don’t think he does underwear checks as you’re on your way out the door…or at least I hope he doesn’t. There’s nothing inherently wrong about wearing a thong.

If your dad doesn’t think it is okay, it might help if yo explain to him that you want to wear them because they do not show and because you think they are comfortable…when my daughter is 13 i probably will not let her wear them since most people wear them to be **** and some girls pull them up ridiculously high enough to show off…13 year olds are too young to show off their panties…but if she told me she was embarrased about her panty line showing…i might say yes and buy her a modest (not too sexy) one.

Wearing a thong should be okay. As long as its comfortable I say do it.
Um my mom let me when i was 13 but I think she thought I was old enough too, I don’t remember my dad knowing what panties i wore. But I have a daughter and I just asked my husband if he would let her wear a thong when she was thirteen and he said prolly not, so I think its just a dad thing and just think of it as your dad just watching out for you. Be prepared because your in for the long hall with you dad at least for another five years. He just loves ya, be glad you have a dad that cares.
As long as it’s just for you, I see nothing wrong with wearing a thong. If you want to wear them because they’re more comfortable, I think your dad should let you. If you want to wear them because they make you feel sexy, that’s great too. If, however, you want to wear them because they you think they will make you more attractive to others (apart from the underwear line thing), then you’re too young. There’s nothing inherently wrong with a thong, but many people wear them in an effort to essentially turn themselves into *** objects. I can see why your dad objects to it at first glance, but he should listen to your reasons. I think your reasoning is perfectly appropirate for your age, and you should be allowed to wear them.
I think is main concern is probably that you’re planning on having other people see them. So long as you’re not, there’s nothing wrong with it, but parents can be irrational about things like that. Also, he probably like to see his little girl starting to grow up.
PS. Never wear a thong in such a way that it shows above your jeans. That’s just gross.

my neice is 13 yrs old and she wears them, and i dont think she should, when she wears those “low rider” jeans or whatever then it shows the thong above her jeans and i think that gives boys the wrong impression … cause most girls does wear them to be “sexy” but myself i dont think they should..
