Grrr, this is driving me nuts. My bra straps are constantly slipping down or all the way off my shoulders. And it’s not just bras, it happens with strappy tank tops too.

I know I have the correct bra size because I was fitted at Layne Bryant about a year ago. And the straps have been slipping since I bought the bra. And every other bra I’ve ever owned has slipped off my shoulders.

Not wearing a bra is not an option since I’m a 44DD. They slide right off when I’m walking, and I’m a courier so I walk a lot.

Have I been misfitted or is there some way to solve this with a product? Do the straps just need to be tighter? How do you figure out how tight the straps should be anyway?

GERTRUDE

Adjust the straps. Are they stretched out from wear? Or perhaps you are a little shorter than most women from your shoulders to where your chest is. There’s a thought.
    Good luck anyway!:)

I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH STRAPS.
I WEAR A SPORTS BRA THAT DOESN’T HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO DO THE SAME.

check with Lane Bryant to be sure your straps are tightening correctly….that could be the problem. if you are walking briskly, at your ****** size, your straps are fighting a loosing battle!!! (i completely understand — i was a 42DD before my reduction!) try a sports bra for extra support while walking and save your pretty bras for other occasions…you can be fitted at Kaufman’s for one if Lane Bryant doesn’t do them. that’s what i did and it was a fantastic feeling of freedom to not fight my bra straps every time i wore one!!!

they have attchments for youre bra that goes across your back from strap to strap that keeps them in place. when you dont stand really straight or if your shouders are uneven it wont matter what bra you have they will just keep sliding off. try any store that specializes in just bras they usually have them.
