I’m in my teens, and all of my friends wear them. The thing is, I don’t really know how to bring up the argument…I can’t really say Mom, I wanna wear a thong. That sounds so…immature to her, and then she won’t let me wear one! Also, I can’t drive yet, so I can’t just go to the mall and buy one! My best bet to sneak one is to have my mom drop me and my friend off for shopping, buy one and hurry back after we’re done, but she’d ask what we bought, or she’d notice the Victoria’s Secret bag or something!
It’s thong as in underwear.

    You don’t say how old you are, but provided you are a decent age you can explain to her that you don’t want pantylines and that you are embarrassed of your granny panties in the locker room.     if U want 2 convince a parent on a certain topic,do what I do……..black mail :) but in your case that cant work :( so……….. just tell your mom that U live in the 21st century that your the only girl that doesent wear thongs,or tell her that if U do a thing or get a good grade,she has 2 let U wear a thong. Or just buy thongs, wear them,it’s not like your mom will search U,but that means that you’ll have 2 sacrifice your hands wash it youreself.

    i just started wearing one and later on, i told my mom about it.

    her main concern was that i’d have it hanging out of my pants and i’d be less than decent about it. Once she saw that i was being decent in wearing one, she was completely fine with it.

    Don’t tell her! If you have ur own money just have one of ur friends moms take u and ur friends to the mall or veen walmart (they do have cute ones) and jsut buy a few….your mom will never no…Just make sure u wash em and dry em when shes not around and keep them out of site..Or if you can’t get a ride does she shop at walmart for groceries? If so go with her and sneak off to go buy them……..then jsut hid them in ur purse or something …..And don’t lsiten to some of those ppl thongs are very comfy!!……………..Good luck :)

    okay, it is unuasual to wear one before 15, but you can, i know people who do

    start to wear one and then tell her..then she’ll realize that your not wearing it and showing it off, its just like underwear..then she’ll realize you’re mature enough and let you continue wear them

    Buy a white skirt.With it you have to wear thong because it doesn’t look good if not.Tell this to your mother.I did that when I wanted to wear them and it really works.But trust me it is not so special if you wear thong, but that is your choice.Good luck

    Always remember that thongs and g-strings are only clothing. Although strippers started wearing them, they are common today because they reduce (not eliminate) visible panty lines. More thongs and g-strings are made and sold than regular ones because of this. You are a teenager after all and understandably self conscious.

    You could also try mailorder or ebay. I have seen some thongs sold as sets with normal underwear. You could argue that you bought the regular ones and the thongs were part of the package.

    If you buy them at the mall, they are easy to conceal because they are so small and can fit into any pocket once you rid the wrapping and tags. However, chances are that your mum does the laundry and is likely to notice.

    Does your mum wear g-strings herself? If she does she would probably be more open to you having them.

    you can buy a thong and sneak it into the house by just putting it in your pocket. Or you can just buy the thong at the mall and after you get it. Go to the bathroom in the mall and put it on. Then your mom wont even know you bought a thong.
